Walking in the Steps of a Prophet

From the very beginning, God has been calling His people to walk in His truth, to live with hope, and to share His light with the world. The prophets—those bold voices who spoke in dark times—were not perfect, but they were willing. Willing to speak truth when it was unpopular, to believe in God’s promises when everything seemed lost, and to partner with Him in His mission to bring hope to the nations.

This week, we are invited to take those same steps. Speak Truth. Not just in words, but in the way we live—standing firm in God’s love, even when the world calls us to compromise. Believe with Hope. When circumstances feel overwhelming, remember Isaiah’s promise: The people walking in darkness have seen a great light (Isaiah 9:2). Jesus is our light. And co-mission with God. The prophets weren’t just called to see the future—they were called to shape the present. We are too.
