1,000 Crisis Care Kits

This weekend, we experienced an incredible outpouring of support from our church and community as we gathered to help those in crisis. Together, we collected and packed nearly 1,000 Crisis Care Kits and School Pal Paks, many of which will be sent to those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. We are especially grateful for the dozens of volunteers who gave their time, resources, and hearts to this cause. This Wednesday, we will send a 16-foot truck loaded with these essential supplies to Tennessee, where they will be distributed to communities in need.

Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm, has left a path of destruction across the Southeastern United States. With hundreds dead or missing and entire communities flooded, this disaster has impacted many. Nazarene Disaster Response (NDR) teams are working tirelessly to deliver aid, rebuild communities, and restore hope. Churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas are already hosting relief efforts, while the wider Nazarene community continues to collect supplies.

The need is great, and this recovery effort will take time. Please continue to pray for those affected by the storm, for families mourning the loss of loved ones, and for those who have lost homes and livelihoods. Your prayers and donations make a difference. We encourage you to give to the 2024 Storm Response Fund, which will provide both immediate and long-term relief to these devastated communities.

Let’s continue to stand together in faith and generosity, knowing that our collective efforts are a tangible expression of God’s hope and care for the world.
